Features

• Patented pressure, eccentric, balanced, Buna-N diaphragm with self-cleaning pilot water filter with 90 mesh (200 micron) mesh and encapsulated stainless steel spring. Eccentric design provides smoother closure and reduces water hammer
• Only four encapsulated, durable multi-key cover screws that come with half the number of turns for quick and easy maintenance – at least twice as fast as the competition
• Glass-filled polypropylene body for strength (slip model bodies are PVC)
• All popular model configurations available
• Compact construction, 2.54″ swing radius for watertight installations
• Normally closed reverse flow design
• External bleed to manually flush system of sludge and debris during installation and system start-up

Recommendations

Rain Bird recommends that flows resulting in discharge velocities in the supply line not exceed 7,5 ft/sec (2,3 m/sec) to reduce water hammer effects.

Rain Bird residential valves cannot be used with PRS pressure regulating modules.

Not recommended for use with two-wire systems.
